Haiku Poems Inspired by Master Bloggers

Over the course of three years of blogging, I’ve been inspired by the

phenomenal art and photographs of many talented fellow bloggers.

Featured are seven of them! I hope to write more poetry inspired by a

few others in the coming weeks…

Ravenous

See me as I am

Glutton for your attention

Ravenous woman

Muddy

Do you play in mud?

Stains hold fast to dirty pasts

Careful where you play

Tangled

Tangled in silk threads

Trapped insect waits with faint breath

Death walks the fine web

Trumped

Tangled web of lies

Woven to trap and gaslight

Ensnares idiots

Trapped

Tangled in her head

Dreams unrealized and trapped

Her chaotic web

Moss

Sits the silent king

Patient in times of duress

Moss grows on stone skin

Locked

You’re like a closed door

Secretive and locked from me

I’ll find a spare key

Wings

I have wings to fly

They never are really used

‘Til I see your smile

Dance

I dance in the dark

My demons rock the music

No angels on harps
