Death Is Watching

On a darkened road,
Death waits. On my GPS,
I re-route the way.

  1. I was never any good at painting. The mist is something I would have I messed up, and the entire painting would have ended up either white or gray, Because I’m talented like that.

  2. Ah, I love your additional poetry, it adds some modern flair to a centuries old fear. I feel like most of us are constantly trying to re-route to avoid death, but death already knows all our possible detours. There’s no escape, only a bit more time added (*cue menacing laughter and evil grin*).
Every once in a while, I like to dim the headlights and charge straight forward at full speed with a smile. You’d think this would ensure demise, but it probably just freaks death the hell out briefly. I guess I’ve been lucky 🙂
Lovely haiku and thank you for sharing my work!

    • More fun to be had! I do love Anna’s painting. She has more cool ones on her blog. Your dark captures are amazing, as well. Your dark side shines so splendidly! Thank you. xo
