Hahaha.. You really do? 😂😂
Do you mind? What should I call you?
Haha.. No Jo I don’t mind you can call me whatever you want.
But yeah, there’s a name which my parents had given me 20 years back – Sumit 😅
Okay Sumit! Nice to meet you. My name is Rose which my parents named me much longer than 20 years ago 🙂
Hahaha…. Nice name Rose. 🙂
Thanks to your parents. 😉
I’m glad to meet you. 🙂

Brilliant and funny! 😘
i just think to best way to respond to your haiku is with another that just picks up and riffs on the words and ideas lurking in the original.. 🙂
Great one Rose
lovely image of winter personified and I love how you have the robin awakening spring! I’m hoping it’ll happen here soon too!
Thank you! You write beautiful haiku poems, and your words touch me. I’m hoping for spring to arrive soon, as well.🌷💐🌹
Very gorgeous, indeed! Fly is very talented. xo
short and sweet 🙂
beautiful short poetry
Thanks much, San! 💐😊
Lovely post! Just one question…Actually never mind haha, This one really has me thinking, but I like it!
Lol. What’s your question? I’m glad the poem made you think. ☺️🌷
Lol got confused on the who “her” was referring to at first and would love for you to explain
Haiku poems have a stringent form to follow, so I understand your confusion!
I’ve personified “Winter” as a female who’s shaking off her cloak.
Thank you so much for reading my work so carefully, Tracey. I’m happy answering your questions. xo
And thanks for the insight!!
Wow Rose. . Such beautiful words. singing to awaken spring. Liked it. And pic is awesome by Fly trap man. 🙂 Have a great weekend. 🙂

Beautiful one…short and sweet… 🙂
Ah, your words are music to my ear! Thank you. ☺️🎤🎧🎼🎵🎶
I’ve seen some of those birds. To me they claim the end of the summer. x_x
Enjoy summer’s gifts! 🌷 🌼 🌸
I hate getting frost on my cloak!
The robins are early this year. There’s no snow on the ground, so I suppose that means they can massacre worms. Lucky them.
I had no idea you wore a cloak 🙂 Is it like the one the Headless Horseman wears?
Your robin photos are very lovely. I’m sure they’ll share worms and bugs with you if you’re nice to them! 🐛 🐌
Shorter than a haiku but, as well, one that says plenty. Beautiful poetry.
It is a haiku; 5-7-5. Thank you for your compliment!
I see. It’s been a long time since I last read a haiku.
Yay for spring! Lovely haiku 🙂
Thank you! ☘ ☘ ☘
Reblogged this on Ancien Hippie.
I can smell spring in the air, with the robin’s song. Lovely haiku! 🙂
Fingers crossed in the hope that my comment is spared of being led to spam.
Your comment made it! Yay!! Thanks. 🙂
You, too, Rinaldo! Thank you ⍟ ❥ ツ ღ ☻
very nice… springtime is awake – hope of a new life… 🙂
Thanks for the beautiful words! 🙂 🌸
I like it when a rhyme can be smuggled into a blank verse form w/o the slightest hint of a queer bulge under anybody’s coat. 🙂
What?! Damn, I kinda like queer bulges, baby. 😝
