I’ll follow you into the darkness, she vowed. We can shine there together.

Clutching the dagger to her chest, Juliet pierced her heart; succumbing gladly into the night.

  1. I am not convinced this speaks of sadness. How blessed with LOVE is an individual that may experience this level of passion and commitment and an absolute desire to carry it “willfully” to eternity? We may classify the act of suicide a tragedy, but is this a fair assessment without understanding the undertones that lead to this decision?

    Regardless, the poem is a beautiful piece that reaches deep into the heart of the reader. ❀

      • I told WP that I want to follow my own blog and then, after navigating to the place for managing followed blogs, I told it to send me e-mails about comments on my blog. I get some near-duplicate e-mails but am less likely to miss a comment. Of course it can still happen. Murphy rules!
