Ah! I knew you really did not turn a leaf. It’s in your blood girl!

It’s a lot more fun writing about pain and angst than flowers and rainbows; that’s for sure. There’s a fine line, though and one doesn’t want to be so depressing or blood thirsty. lol. Yes, my blood runs dark. π

Mine runs flowers and rainbows ahem! Nothing wrong with being blood thirsty. Look at Stephen King. Wreaks of blood thirsty money. There is something to be said for that lol

You find beauty in a wasps nest Rose.
And then you go and get stung.
A wonderful Haiku. πππ
I know. There’re Bees.

Haha! Getting stung is a necessity when you tread in the dark. I have a multitude of stings and bites from reading your work. Lol. I wouldn’t have it any other way. π It’s all right! I love bees, as well. Thank you, sweet Alanπ·πΈπΊ

Another winner! I have seen wasps nests a number of times in the past. We even once had the beginnings of a very small one on our balcony. They are quite pretty and delicate in a way, but I don’t want to admire them from too close up..

Yes, best to keep away from being stung, BunK! Plus your paper bag is so much prettier than a wasp nest π

Thank you! That will make all my bee, hornet and wasp friends jealous. π

Just because something appears fragile doesn’t make it weak. Whether it’s an object or a person, one must always be prepared. The beauty is, we can appreciate the delicate nature without instigating a painful reflexive response. Taking one extra second to think before acting can make all the difference. I like the message!

I found the wasp nest in my car — it was attached to the inside of my trunk. Ever see a paper wasp nest? Those can look pretty strange.

I have two small wasp nests (I’d post the pic in the comment section, but I posted an image for you here once before, and you said that you couldn’t see it. I’ll send you the pic shortly). They’re not as pretty as yours. That’s scary the nests were attached to your trunk. Was it a live nest?

The nest was vacated when I discovered it. I’m not exactly sure how old it was. I used to find large nests about 18 years ago — they were the bulbous type.
